Learn to live in harmony with nature. A workshop exploring how to eat, move, and improve your overall health and wellness during the winter months. Discover how Traditional Chinese Medicine theories in combination with yoga can improve your vitality throughout the winter. Acquire practical and simple tools that we can integrate into our daily lives.
The day beings with a tour of UBC Farm. Observe and delight in the incredible local organic abundance of winter fruits and vegetables cultivated on our own BC soil! Tedi and Dr Angela Foran will shed light on eating patterns that will increase your energy and vivaciousness and help reduce even eliminate inflammation and stress.
Tedi will then lead a nourishing vinyasa style yoga practice in the UBC Farm Yurt and finish the class with an extra sweet savasana. Students will have the option to enjoy some relaxing acupuncture points from special guest Dr. Angela during their savasana.
Leave feeling rejuvenated, enlightened and ready to embrace the wondrous winter season!
